|Recommended: YesVery Happy Here — My wife and I have lived here more than two years and still love it. We are close to everything and have a beautiful view of the city. I almost never drive anymore. I almost never hear my neighbors at all. We sometimes catch noise from the street or trains, but I rarely notice it. The few maintenance requests we've made have been promptly and professionally addressed. The apartment was under different management when we first moved in, and there were frequent issues with the elevator and false fire alarms. When the new management came in, many residents had already left or decided to leave -- and we were almost among them. I'm so happy we gave Cottonwood a chance, because they have really improved life here. Management always seems eager to help and everyone on staff is professional and friendly. They always greet me with a smile when they see me, and have blown me away with their willingness to go the extra mile for us even when we don't ask. All the neighbors I've met are friendly. The elevators work. I haven't been startled by a false fire alarm in more than a year. We love to invite friends over for games, dinner, and watching fireworks over the city from our window on New Year's Eve and July 4th. I've recommended Cottonwood Westside to friends, and I don't intend to leave anytime soon.

|Recommended: YesIt's Decent and Can Keep Improving — Pros Great location. Love the apartment design and concrete floors. Lockers for dry-cleaning and package pick-up are plusses. Pool area is great. I wanted to live by a train and don't mind them going by.
Cons Not all owners clean up after their dogs in the elevator garage. Garage gates are frequently broken. Community events are advertised with not enough notice. A rotating door of managers over the past 2.5 years have left me frustrated in getting honest answers related to the property's advertised amenities.
